Roman, a six year old boy, is asking his followers to rescue a beloved four-legged doggie called Legend.

He is a Labrador retriever at Skagit Valley Humane Society in Burlington, Washington. The video you see here has well over 18,000 views and rising.

Roman has a calling and a determination to rescue doggies, his mom, Jennifer McConn had reportedly said that it all began at the tender age of 4 years old.

Jennifer said: “He opted to forego receiving presents on his fourth birthday and instead asked for donations so he could give those to a local rescue in Texas” – “It’s kind of taken off since then.”

Jennifer talked about how Roman is in his element when he is with dogs, how he loves interacting with them. His mom often make videos together to raise awareness and help pups who really need someone to help them.

Legend is one dog he wants to help, but, only one of many dogs that Roman and his mom Jennifer have helped. Roman is completely determined to find a new home for Legend!

Incredibly Jennifer also has two Animal Rescue Organizations called Project Freedom Ride and PAWS & Read. These organizations are geared just to care for, rescue, shelter and save dogs from the awful kill shelters, in Texas.

Jennifer said:

“We transport dogs up to rescues and humane societies such as Skagit Valley Humane Society or to our direct adopters”

“Typically dogs that are in the humane society are our first priority to visit but there is always one or two non-Project Freedom Ride dogs that pull on our heartstrings, like Legend.”

What an awesome team Jennifer and Roman make together!

Let’s help them in their goals and make sure everybody knows about them by sharing their story!
